The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd has described as fake the news making the rounds in some online portals that it’s currently recruiting.
The company warned Nigerians not to fall victims to fraudsters purporting to be carrying out recruitment for the company.
A statement by the company’s Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs, noted that “whenever recruitment will be conducted, it will be announced via our website (www.nnpcgroup.com) and all official social media handles (@nnpc limited).
It will be recalled that some online fraudsters have been impersonating the national oil company, especially in recruitment issues thus fleecing unsuspecting members of the public of their hard-earned money.
