Renowned Kannywood actor, Abdullahi Shuaibu, popularly known as Karkuzu, has passed away at the age of 94. He died on Tuesday at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).
His funeral prayer was held on Wednesday morning, drawing hundreds of sympathizers who came to pay their last respects. His son, Dalhatu Abdullahi, described his passing as a significant loss to the family. Karkuzu is survived by his wife and six children.
The veteran actor was widely respected for his dedication and resilience in the Nigerian film industry. Despite facing numerous challenges, including health issues, he remained active in acting until his later years.
Sani Mu’azu, a longtime colleague, paid tribute to Karkuzu, saying, *“What struck me most about Karkuzu was his resilience and dedication to his craft.
