Tinubu Appoints Four New Members to NCDMB Governing Council

President Bola Tinubu has approved the nomination of four new members to the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) to fill existing vacancies and enhance the board’s capacity.

Key Appointments: Mr. Olusegun Omosehin – National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Engr. Wole Ogunsanya – Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), Sam Onyechi – Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF), Barrister Owei Oyanbo – Ministry of Petroleum Resources

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, stated on Thursday that the nominees are expected to contribute their expertise to strengthening local content development in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

The NCDMB Governing Council, established under Section 69 of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, 2010, includes representatives from key institutions such as: The Ministry of Petroleum Resources, The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL),The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), The Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF), The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM)

President Tinubu urged the new appointees to leverage their expertise to drive the nation’s local content agenda forward.
