The President of the Republic of Niger, Bazoum Mohammed, received a delegation of Nigerian businessmen who visited him in Western City, under the leadership of the CEO of BUA Abdusamad Rabiu.
Speaking to the media after the meeting with the President, Rabiu said that they visited to develop relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation discussed issues related to trade and investment between Nigeria and Niger, especially considering the problems the world is facing today as a result of the war in Ukraine.
The head of the BUA company, who is also the head of the French-Nigerian Business Association, said that they are planning to expand the relationship between their cement company in Sokoto between the two sides, and look at some aspects of business that will affect Niger and Nigeria.
Rabiu said this is the reason for their visit and meeting with President Bazoum to explain to him the work they are doing and the need to help each other in the right ways.
Later, the president of BUA announced the grant of 3 million dollars from his foundation that helps African countries to develop education in Niger.
