The Governor of Sokoto State Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu arrived Birnin Kebbi this afternoon to attend social functions.
At Lambar Gwandu to receive him was a team of the Kebbi state government including former Head of Service and now Special Adviser of Civil Service Safiyanu Bena, Information and Culture Commissioner Yakubu Ahmed BK and Commissioner of Rural and Community Development Garba Takware.
The Governor is due to return to Sokoto after the events which include wedding ceremonies.
