President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to intensify efforts towards achieving food security, investments and development across Nigeria.
The president made the pledge while accepting the vote of confidence reposed in his leadership by members of the All-Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja.
The president described the party’s endorsement as a challenge to work harder and focus on accelerating Nigeria’s economic recovery as well as foster sustainable growth.
The Nigerian Leader pledged to continue to work with other arms of government to ensure the greater good for Nigerians.
APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, thanked members of the ruling party for their steadfastness in the face of challenges and assured them that the party would continue to deliver on its electoral promises.
The leadership of the national assembly also restated the National 10th assembly’s commitment to supporting the President in repositioning the nation from its economic and developmental woes.
The APC National Executive Council meeting took place a day after the party’s caucus meeting on Tuesday night.
