The Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Dr. Mele Kolo Kyari has assured Nigerians that fuel queues will disappear soon.

Dr. Kyari gave this assurance while briefing the House of Representatives Committee on petroleum resources (downstream) today at the National Assembly complex in Abuja.

He said, “I am assuring more supply plans. We will contain this development” as over a billion litres is in stock and 2.3 billions has been imported to boost the national reserves. In the interim, that the NNPC and its major partners have started a 24-hour loading and distribution of PMS to make up for the shortage.
