NNPC Ltd.’s second day at the ongoing CERAWeek in Houston, Texas, was defined by active engagement in discussions aligned with this year’s theme, “Multidimensional Energy Transition: Markets, Climate, Technology, and Geopolitics.”
The day featured strategic collaboration and partnership with leaders from Chevron, as well as a key meeting with a delegation from the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Energy Resources, led by the U.S. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright.
The Nigerian delegation, led by the Minister of State for Gas, Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, alongside NNPC Limited’s Executive Vice President (EVP) Gas, Olalekan Ogunleye, EVP Upstream, Udy Ntia, and other senior management team members, participated in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and advancing the energy sector.
During the discussions, the U.S. Secretary of Energy reaffirmed a commitment to ongoing collaboration with Nigeria and NNPC Ltd., underscoring the importance of strategic partnerships in ensuring energy security and sustainable development.
