Participants undergoing embedded systems training as part of the ongoing NITDA SB4KIDS programme

The students are learning how to program microcontrollers to control sensors and actuators using the C++ programming language and the Arduino platform.

NITDA SB4KIDS programme being held simultaneously in Port Harcourt, Rivers, and Jigawa States, is a nationwide initiative of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the supervision of Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy that aims to introduce children to emerging technologies, and develop the skills they need to be successful in the future.
