Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal met with the Delegation from Ummul Qurah University, Mecca led by Professor, Sheikh Hassan Hameed Bukhari at the Sokoto Government House. The team of clerics from Meccan based University were for the past three days in Sokoto for the training programme of some Judges and Scholars.
The Delegation were accompanied by the DVC Academic, and Administration, University Chief Librarian, and Dean Students Affairs of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, the University that hosted the training, and Sheikh Dr. Sani Jos, Sheikh Abubakar Giro Argungu, and other higher ranking Scholars.
Also In the courtesy call that featured the decoration of Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal with Islamic robes, were the Deputy Governor, Munir Muhammad Dan’iya, Chief Judge Sokoto, Justice Saidu Sifawa, SSG, Mallam Saidu Umar, CoS Government House, Mukhtar Magori, and some Members of the State Executive Council.
