Gbajabiamila Greets Muslims On New Year 1444 AH

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila has congratulated Nigerian Muslims for marking the New Islamic Year 1444 AH.

Gbajabiamila said ushering in the New Islamic Year 1444 AH was a significant event in the life of every Muslim, which calls for sober reflection and rededication to the service of the Almighty Allah.

The speaker noted that Muslims should use the New Year to pray for peace and unity in the country, especially in the face of the challenges facing the nation.

Gbajabiamila reminded the Nigerian Muslims of the need to pray fervently for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, the speaker also urged Muslims to continue to be their brother’s keepers and pray for a decisive end to banditry, kidnapping and terrorism in the country.
