The inter-emirates soccer tournament organized by the Kebbi state Students union body of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi came to an end this evening with the Yauri Emirate winning the star diadem by beating their Gwandu Emirate counterpart by two goals to nil.
The four emirates of Gwandu, Argungu, Yauri and Zuru took part in the competition over a period of one week.
The final match was played at the football ground of the University with hundreds of enthusiasts in attendance.
The special guest of honor and Kebbi state Commissioner of Information and Culture Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK distributed prizes to the winning team and individual prizes for players across the participating teams for their respective acts of valor and accomplishments.
