It is arguably Nigeria’s best primary school. Built by former Borno state Governor Kashim Shettima, the school located along Bama road in the state capital, is one of the many similar primary schools conceived and constructed by the action Governor of that time.

The Dangote mega primary school Maiduguri was built for the communities around the immediate environment as well as orphans of victims of the Boko Haram insurgency.
