Bama Emirate Council Turbans Ciroma of Bama

Ciroma retired  as a senior official of the Nigeria National Petroleum  Company( NNPC) in the year 2022 after years of meritorious service.

The Bama Emirate Council Borno State has appointed Alhaji Aja Ciroma as Chiroman Bama.

A letter confirming the conferment of the traditional title was sign the Emirate Council’s Secretary, Makinta A. Usman said the appointment was following the approval of His Royal Highness, the Shehu of Bama, Alhaji Umar Kyari.

While conveying the council’s decision, the letter urged the new Chiroma to liaise with the Sherrima of Kanuribe of Bama ” to make necessary arrangements” for his formal turbanning ceremony.

The letter also conveyed the Emirate Council’s congratulations to the new Chiromah, who succeeded his late sibling,  the late Chiroma of Bamah.

The 60 years old new monarch is married to one a wife and father of four children, out of which two females are medical doctors and two male others, including an Internet Technology graduate.
