Ahead Summer Transfer Window: Manchester United Set £20m Price Tag For Goalkeeper Andre Onana

By Kabiru Abdulrauf

Manchester United are reportedly open to selling goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer, setting a price tag of £20 million for the Cameroonian international. The move would mark a significant loss on the £47.2 million fee paid to Inter Milan just a year ago.

According to The Mirror, United are not actively pushing for Onana’s departure, but could part ways with the 29-year-old if a suitable offer arrives. Despite a turbulent debut season riddled with high-profile errors, the club is not prioritizing a goalkeeping overhaul. Instead, new manager Ruben Amorim is focused on strengthening outfield positions.

The Red Devils are said to admire Senne Lammens of Royal Antwerp, but sources suggest United are willing to give Onana another chance — unless the right deal comes through.

Since joining Old Trafford, Onana has played 96 matches, conceding 144 goals and recording 23 clean sheets. While his shot-stopping abilities have occasionally shone through, inconsistency has plagued his performances, making him a divisive figure among fans and pundits.

With the summer transfer window fast approaching, Onana’s future remains uncertain — hinging on whether any club is willing to gamble £20 million on the once high-flying keeper.
