The Honorable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Dr Abubakar Malami, SAN is deeply saddened by the sudden death of three of his Childhood friends and one other who lost their lives in a fatal road accident in Yauri town of Kebbi State.
In a Statement, the Minister described the sad event as very terrifying.
“The news is sad and shocking, I’m terrified and devastated.
I have lost 3 of my childhood friends at a go. Pharmacist Hussaini Abdullahi (Goro), Hon Aliyu Tanko (Kwara) and Abubakar Abdullahi (Old Man) and one other” the Minister recounted sorrowfully.
“They were involved In a fatal road accident on their way back from Abuja not knowing our meeting at 10am of 7th July, was taking place on their destined last day on earth.
Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un
May Allah have have mercy on their respective souls” Malami dolefully concluded.
Late Honorable Aliyu Tanko Nassarawa (Kwara) was one time a Member, Kebbi State House of Assembly representing Birnin-Kebbi South Constituency while
Pharmacist Hussaini lAbdullahi (Goro) until his death on the other hand, is the Chairman, Cassava Growwers Association of Nigeria.
Late Abubakar Abdullahi Gwabare was also one of his childhood friends and until his death a member of Cassava Growers while Late Hon Yakubu Magaji was a former Vice Chairman of Argungu Local government.
The dou were also vital Stakeholders in the operation of Khadimiyya For Justice and Development Initiative as their invaluable Contribution towards the actualization of the Foundation’s mission and vision would remain indelible.
Amongst the early callers to sympathize with the Minister of Justice and families of the departed soul were Kebbi State Executive Governor Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, GMD NNPC Alh Male Kyari, Members of Federal House of Representatives representing Yauri Shanga Ngaski Hon Tanko Sununu and that of Koko Maiyama Hon Shehu Muhammad Koko amongst others.
