…Urges him to hit the ground running
The Abdullahi Fodio Old Boys Association ( AFOBA 2007) has urged the president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to hit the ground running as soon as he takes over the affairs of the country.
President of the Association, Comrade Usman Shehu Amala who led other executive members on a congratulatory visit to Presidential Campaign Council member of the APC Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed-BK yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, expressed delight at the turn of events during the election and thanked Nigerians for the unanimity of their decision. He said the decision was a wise one and expressed the hope that the president-elect and the Vice President-elect would quickly bring their experience in government to bear in resolving the nation’s most intractable problems.
Also contributing, a Patron of the Association and former principal of the Abdullahi Fodio Secondary School Malam Sa’idu Buhari Warra also congratulated the president-elect and appealed for solidarity and understanding of Nigerians as the nation enters another important chapter in its quest to bring about growth.
In his response, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed assured his visitors that Nigerians will not regret their decision to vote for the APC ticket. He said both Tinubu and Shettima have prepared for this task for a very long time and that their pedigree has proved that they are problems solvers and nation builders.
He called on Nigerians to rally round the President as he prepares to take over and start the daunting task of nation building.
