…pledged an all-out campaign
A group of young political scientists and educators under the umbrella of the Network For Tinubu/Shettima Foot-Soldiers has emerged in Kebbi state with a vow to do all within its powers to see to the actualization of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential project.
The group which paid a courtesy Visit to Birnin Kebbi based writer and media consultant Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed-BK (Maibindiga) in his residence in the Kebbi state capital today was led by its National Coordinator Comrade Basiru Ahmed.
Ha said, in his speech that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket has the potentials to give Nigeria a new lease of life. According to him, the antecedents of the two highly respected politicians, their track records, capacity and acumen will become handy and critical to the resolution of challenges facing the country today.
He said the emergence of Kashim Shettima as the Vice Presidential candidates of the APC has rekindled hopes of a better tomorrow for the country. The group, he noted is made up of energetic and committed young men and women who have resolved to work for the success of the ticket by way of door-to-door campaign and walking around neighborhoods to highlight the potentials of the ticket to the people at the grassroots.
Their host, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed-BK thanked the group for the visit and assured them that the decision they have taken was the right one. He urged them to see their role as very critical to the attainment of victory for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
He called on young men and women in all parts of the country to eschew all forms of negative and unhelpful sentiments and see the Tinubu/Shettima project as a national and broad based one of high requires all hand to be on deck to actualize it. He promised his support to the group at all times and called on them to take advantage of his open door policy to reach out to him on any issue concerning the project.
Other members on the entourage include Aslam Abubakar Bagudu, Abdulwahab Muhammad Zagga, Abdulkadir Abubakar, Mansur Kalgo, Shamsudeen Abubakar, Faisal Abubakar Nassarawa and Hamza Musa.
