Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated several modern blocks of classrooms and additional facilities in schools located in Ikorodu and Kosofe areas of Lagos State. This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure and providing conducive learning environments for students. 
The newly commissioned projects include an 18-classroom block, renovated existing structures, and modern amenities such as food canteens, Intro-Tech blocks, and sports fields. These facilities aim to foster academic excellence and holistic development among students. 
During the inauguration at Keme Balogun Junior/Senior College in Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of quality education as a cornerstone of socio-economic development. He highlighted that investing in educational infrastructure equips students with the necessary tools to compete in a globalized world. 
The event was attended by key government officials, including Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Commissioner for Information and Strategy Gbenga Omotoso, and Special Adviser on Education Olumide Sogunle. Their presence signifies a unified approach towards advancing the state’s educational sector.
