In a heartfelt Easter message to the nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to end insecurity and restore lasting peace across Nigeria. The President issued a resolute directive to the Armed Forces and security agencies, urging them to act decisively and without delay in addressing the nation’s security challenges.
Expressing deep sorrow over recent tragic incidents and the loss of lives in some parts of the country, President Tinubu assured Nigerians that “forces of evil will never prevail over our country.” He praised the courage and dedication of the nation’s security personnel, noting that steady progress is being made in reclaiming peace and stability nationwide.
On the economic front, the President acknowledged the hardships faced by many Nigerians but offered a message of hope. He highlighted early signs of economic recovery and reiterated his administration’s efforts to restore investor confidence, stabilise key sectors, and build an inclusive economy that benefits all citizens.
Felicitating with Christians in Nigeria and around the world, President Tinubu reflected on Easter’s core values of sacrifice, love, and renewal. He drew inspiration from the resurrection message, pledging to deliver on his Renewed Hope agenda for a “better, more just, and prosperous Nigeria.”
The felicitation comes hours after the president spokesperson disclosed that Tinubu will be back in Nigeria on April 21st 2025.
As the nation marks the holy season, the President called for unity, resilience, and continued faith in the country’s collective journey toward peace and prosperity. He concluded by extending warm Easter wishes to all Nigerians, praying that the risen Christ fills homes with peace and strengthens national unity.
